Over the past week, the 22nd Annual Conference of the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association was in Dover, Delaware at Dover Downs.

This annual event hosted many conferences, trainings, seminars, and volunteer recognitions which included the following recognition for a member of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company:

William Tobin has been affiliated with the Goodwill, Indian River and Memorial fire companies for many years and continues to provide volunteer service by serving as a Delaware State Fire Police Officer.
