Inclement Weather Assessment – 12 n. – Oak Orchard & Long Neck

On Saturday, September 3rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company prepared for the pending inclement weather and performed various fire district assessments in order to monitor the pending conditions.

Illustrated herewith are various photographs of the initial high tide in Oak Orchard and Long Neck at between 12 n. and 1 p.

The following areas had minimal to no flooding during the inital high tide cycle:

(1)  Oak Orchard Road @ River Road - minimal flooding;

(2)  River Road between Cerise Lane and Pocohontas Avenue (Riverdale) - minimal flooding;

(3)  Delaware Avenue & Oak Orchard Road - minimal flooding; and

(4)  Long Neck Road near Fairfield - minimal to no flooding
