Nature: Structure Fire

Location: Sussex Pines Country Club

Address:  22426 Sussex Pines Rd Georgetown, DE 19947

On Monday, August 8th, the Indian River (80), Millsboro (83), Milton (85), Ellendale (75) fire companies were alerted to assist Georgetown (77) Fire Company with a working structure fire located within the Sussex Pines Country Club. This incident was originally reported as a vehicle fire which quickly spread to the entire structure utilized to house golf course maintenance equipment.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included assistance with fire suppression, manpower pool and other incident mitigation activities to fully suppression the fire.
