Nature: Fire Prevention / Apparatus Demonstration

Location: Boys & Girls Club – Oak Orchard/Riverdale

On Friday, July 29th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was asked to provide an apparatus demonstration and fire prevention presentation to the summer program patrons of the Oak Orchard-Riverdale Boys & Girls Club.

This event was hosted at the Oak Orchard-Riverdale American Post #28 for the children and included various recreational bounces, a presentation of the local emergency medical service providers, and food and refreshments.

Indian River’s presentation incorporated Ladder 80 and Tanker 80 apparatus awareness.
