Nature: Marine Unit Assistance - Paddle Second Chance 2016 Event

On Saturday, June 25th, the Indian River (80), Bethany Beach (70), and Millville (84) assisted and provided marine unit coverage for the paddle board and kayak races on the Indian River Bay. This event included a 5-mile race and a 2.5-mile race.

Indian River’s Marine Units provided visual and transportation assistance with struggling participants and provided a means of return from the course within the Indian River Bay to the designated launching site which additional medical resources were provided if needed.
