Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 34049 Clematis St Lewes, DE 19958

On Thursday evening, June 16th, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) fire companies were alerted to the assist Rehoboth Beach (86) with a reporting working trailer fire on Clematis Street the in area of Love Creek off of John J. Williams Highway. It was reported to be heavy fire when units first arrived.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included assistance with fire suppression activities, manpower pool, and water resources.

Mobile Home Fire-Love Creek Thursday, June 16, 2016

A Mobile Home was heavily damaged on Thursday evening June 16th at 34049 Clematis Street in Love Creek Mobile Home Park off of John J. Williams Highway west of Rehoboth Beach. Rehoboth Beach, Lewes and Indian River firefighters arrived ti find heavy fire coming from the residence. No one was in the structure and no injuries were reported. The Delaware State Fire Marshall in investigating.
