Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: John J Williams Hwy and Bay Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday afternoon, May 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway at or near the intersection of Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be two vehicles with minor injuries with one vehicle possibly into a tree.

Emergency response units from Indian River were limited to the Delaware State Fire Police and all other units were held at their respective stations.

Emergency response crews from Indian River assisted with scene and incident mitigation and size up as well as traffic control.

It appears that a black Ford Focus and a black Dodge Dart were traveling on John J Williams Highway when the Dart was struck from behind by the Focus which continued into a nearby tree.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated the traffic control.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
