Sunday April, 24 2016 @ 15:13 Nature: Outside Fire Location: Woods Across From Control Burn 18796 Harbeson Rd., Harbeson, DE 19951 On Sunday, April 24th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a brush truck and ATV Unit (Polaris) assist off of Harbeson Road in Milton (85) Fire District. Shortly thereafter, the incident was upgraded to an Engine assist as well. Emergency response units from Indian River included Utility 80-11, Polaris 80, and Brush #80-00 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as Brush #80-0 and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility. Emergency crew assignments included assistance with fire suppression, and perimeter control by raking, and other general assignments. |
