Saturday January, 30 2016 @ 03:08 Nature: Vehicle Accident Possibly Serious Location: 26922-27109 William Street Road, Millsboro, DE 19966 Early Saturday morning, January 30th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on William Street Road. It was reported to be a single vehicle rollover with possible wires down. Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. Additional resources were utilized from the Sussex County Paramedics, the Millsboro Fire Company Ambulance, and the local emergency medical services provider. It appears that a black Ford sedan was traveling on William Street Road when it left the roadway for an unknown reason striking a utility pole, shrubbery, trees, and parked vehicle in the residential driveway. The vehicle was occupied by three persons and one was possibly ejected from the vehicle. All occupants were transported to nearby medical facilities for additional evaluation. The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
