Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: 26446-26659 John J Williams Hwy., Millsboro, DE 19966

On Thursday evening, November 12th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Morning View Lane. It was reported to be two vehicles.

Emergency response crews from Indian River include Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. Emergency medical response units from Millsboro Fire Company were directed to the incident location.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization where needed, scene mitigation and traffic control for the duration of the incident.

It appears that a Dodge Charger and a Subaru Forester were traveling eastbound on John J. Williams Highway when the Subaru struck the rear of the Dodge.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
