Nature: Gas Leak

Location: Itao 26664 - 26774 Chatham Ln Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday afternoon, September 7th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a gas leak in the area of Chatham Lane in the Fairfield development off of Long Neck Road.

Emergency response units included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident mitigation and identification of the origin.

Indian River utilized gas detectors and evaluated all residential locations in this block and was not able to determine the existence of any identifiable sources.
