Nature: Structure Collapse Notations: Deputy 80 Handled Address: 28400 - 28431 Cherokee Ave Millsboro, DE 19966

At approximately 2 p.m., Second Assistant Chief Hayden Klingler notified Indian River’s Deputy Chief Brian P. Hubbs of a potential structure collapse in the 28000 block of Cherokee Avenue, Riverdale Park, Millsboro, Delaware. Deputy Chief Hubbs responded to the incident and identified that a single-wide manufactured home with an additional porch or sunroom has partially collapsed due to the significant snowfall and other inclement weather.

Deputy Chief Hubbs identified that this residential structure was a secondary residence and no immediate contact person or related information was available. The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company notified the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center of the incident status and cleared the scene while all apparatus was held at the respective stations.
